Hello,
I’m Andrew, a writer living in Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada. Writing is usually done alone, but my background in music left me with an itch that only collaboration can scratch. So if you’re looking for someone to team up with, get in touch.
a little history
My passion for stories began at an early age. While my friends built tree forts and traded hockey cards, I set stages and developed characters with my LEGOs.
My creative energy took on many forms as a young adult. But for the last nine years, I’ve focused on the written word, studying English Literature and Media & Communication Studies at the University of the Fraser Valley while developing my creative writing skills.
In August 2020, I completed my BA and turned my career path toward the type of work I actually wanted. After a COVID-era detour into marketing, I landed at the local college library, where I currently work as manager of library access services.
Besides the words you can find on this website, I also publish an arts & culture Substack called Ponytail Press with my friend, Joel Brandt. If that sounds interesting to you, check it out here.
